MasterFile Hosted Services (MFHS) is the perfect solution for small organizations who need multi-user capability or to work with MasterFile on-line while on the road without managing servers. MasterFile's Evidence Cruncher now supports Equivio's near-duplicate technology for identifying duplicate and near-duplicate documents loaded into MasterFile. Near-duplicate e-mail threads are also reconstructed. Exporting documents and loading the Equivio results file takes a few mouse clicks. Two unique MasterFile views create the easiest to use Equivio near-duplicate review tool available. Equivio's document compare tool is also integrated with MasterFile allowing word level comparison and viewing of document differences -- even if the documents have different formats.
Practice Management Integration
MasterFile now integrates with the document tabs of most practice management systems. Simply open a special MasterFile short-cut "document" from the documents tab to access the MasterFile database for the matter and review its documents.

A fact's impact can now be assessed against any player, i.e. facts are not automatically "For us" or "Against us". This allows investigators who must maintain impartiality, or who are not party to the issue under investigation, to assess facts for or against the parties under investigation. Similarly, facts can be assessed for or against competing hypotheses or propositions under investigation by researchers, watchdog organizations, scholars, etc.
E-mail clustering by domain
The "by From" and "by To" views now categorize e-mails by domain so you can see at a glance all e-mails to and from each domain which lets reviewers rapidly cull spam and irrelevant material from e-discovery.
