The IBM Lotus Foundations Server
IBM Lotus Foundations Server can think for itself, identifying, isolating and solving problems before they affect your business operations. It backs up data at regularly scheduled intervals (as frequently as every 15 minutes), and if needed, automatically recovers and restores data and system settings in minutes. It also automatically installs security updates to help provide continuous network protection from potential threats such as unauthorized intrusions, viruses and spam attacks. Automated capabilities mean no costly, onsite IT skills.

Until Lotus Foundations, you needed a computer specialist to install Microsoft SBS, configure your firewall, Router, VPN, file sharing, backup, etc. Lotus Foundations (LFS) is a system that needs virtually no IT experience to set up or maintain. - Self healing -- the LFS server will detect erroneous aspects or attempted tampering and fix itself.
